Given Eugene's character arc has been pretty consistently focused on both overcoming his cowardice and using his intelligence to offer something substantial to the group, I think we're gearing up for some Eugene heroics in the war. Like most things in this show, it'll be dragged out to fuckery, but when Eugene does inevitably leave Negan, it'll be doing something noble: Liberating Negan's wives and the Saviors who don't want to follow Negan, setting some kind of trap for the Saviors to fall for, sabotaging something. Here's to hoping.

I thought this 100% after Eugene said the words "I'm stone cold Negan." But seeing the following episodes leading up to his words and actions in 7-15 and 7-16, that fell to 50%. Still, I say him joining Negan just speaks to his character's go to assets. His self preservation and intellect. So I still have some faith that he will step up and sabotage the Saviors at some point. I don't know how or if Rick's group will even know he did it but I think he will. But like you said it could take up to S9 mid-season finale.

Andrea wasn't a favorite of mine but I liked what they did with her in Season 2. She came into her own, became more independent and even stood up to Lori's BS in one episode. Then they left us off with that badass scene with her cutting down all of those walkers while escaping the farm it felt like she was coming into her own. What made her arc in Season 3 so bad for me is that I had such high expectations for her, and it was as if they forgot everything they did with her prior. That's exactly why I liked her so much. I actually saw season 2 before season 1 so I was surprised at the difference. I mean, she always had a spitfire nature but season 2 was more badass. I THOUGHT they were continuing with that at the beginning when Michonne was taking care of Badass Sick Andrea ......thennnnn NOPE. Lol It was very frustrating too when she didn't listen to Michonne and stayed at Woodbury. After they took that course though I would have given her a death where she at least returned to help out Rick's group at the prison. That would have made the Governor's first very anti-climactic attack on the prison better.

I was so frustrated with her at the point of her death, I found it fitting that The Gov fed her to Milton. LOL I was glad she got at least some redemption at the end but it was too late for me.

To me Andrea had one of the most tragic deaths of the show so far. It could have been prevented by none other than herself so many times. Deciding not to go to the prison after Rick and Gov had their meeting. Not killing Gov when she had so many chances. Stalling on her way back yo the prison which allowed Gov to catch up to her. Then she wasted to talking to dying Milton instead of focusing on her escape from the chair. All those things could have saved her if she had made different choices. So sad.

As much as I would like to see Eugene dead. I don't think he has betrayed the group. 'Its a know thy enemy' crap that's going on here. But, yes, if he dies...oh my God!
And Andrea did not betray the group.....stupid plot and writing was the issue there.
