It is amazing. I thought it was just going to be an 8 episode series, but now I suspect there will be a season 2. Yeah there's going to be a second season I believe. I think there's a good chance they'll end up in America in the second season. Tom hardy says there's a twist in the finale that's going to blow minds and make viewers realize we haven't been watching what we think we've been watching. |

I am still an episode behind but I LOVE this series. And I also thought this was a single season run but super excited about the possibility of a second season.

That will be my goal this weekend....to watch the latest two episodes. Is the finale next week? If so, I may just re-watch all the episodes this weekend

There is so much more to this story we have not seen yet. Looking forward to what turns up in the season finale. Same here. I'm usually really good at figuring out plot twists. One of the things I love about this show is I really haven't been able to figure out James Delaney. Complex motherfucker right there and a great character. Taboo is right up there with TWD in my opinion. |

My daughter asked me to explain the series to her and I told her that was easier said than done - and even more difficult to attempt an explanation of Tom Hardy's character.

Just watched the pilot and very much looking forward to what's to come. Now I'm not sure if you're being deliberately vague in your posts here as to avoid spoilers, but I find it funny and just a little bit disheartening that the Guardian's and Independent's reviews of the pilot make for quite similar reading, even though you're almost at the final episode. I'll keep watching anyway, because Tom Hardy is brilliant.

The reason my daughter suddenly became so intrigued with the series is she saw the prior episode recap and kept saying "oh its that guy from House of Cards" "oh its that woman from Game of Thrones" and then "oh him, I like him" She did this about 6 times and then looked at me and said "why am I not watching this?". |

Yesterday I started watching Taboo and I really enjoy it so far. This is only the second time ever that I enjoy something with Tom Hardy. He impressed me with Mad Max: Fury Road.
