I wanted to write more on Rick's progression in regards to how he handles Negan.
I was re-watching "Service" and "Hearts Still Beating". I couldn't even believe it was the same Rick Grimes as the one I saw in the finale.
In "Service" especially, Negan's first visit to ASZ, Rick can't even hardly look him in the eye. He is constantly emotional, he looks down at the ground, is completely subdued. He even "gifted" Negan Michonne's rifle and that deer she killed.
In "Hearts Still Beating", he's once again brought back to that place. Just completely bogged down and exhausted.
Now? Wow, he's done a complete 360. He was right in Negan's face, looking him right in the eye, not backing down. His voice was clear and forceful, where as before he barely whispered when speaking to Negan.
That was probably the best character progression arc I've ever seen on the show, besides Shane's spiral downward. They did a wonderful job showing us the Rick Grimes we've always known before.

You have inspired me to watch these three episodes back to back to back!

Andy should be collecting all the awards by now! The difference of body language when comparing these two photos. In the finale photo Rick's brow is furrowed, his mouth is drawn tight when speaking, the noticeable strain in his neck when he speaks. And the eyes! They are still the same pretty eyes but finale Rick eyes are far more intense than premier Rick eyes!!
