Yeah.... the Jama method kinda sucks. Which pains me to say because anything called "The Jama method" should be all sorts of fucking awesome. Not in this case though. I am able to watch these shows streaming through TV Muse or some other sharing site, but hooboy.... I'm playing with fire from all the adware/malware/viruses that are running about. Probably no worse than logging on to TWDF though. LMAO

Last week I watched the first episode of Handmaid's Tale and thought it was good, not great like the reviews made it out to be. I was expecting more than what I received. This morning I watched the first episode of American Gods and I was quite prepared to find myself once again led astray by the reviews. That did NOT happen. This was an amazing episode. I already care what happens to the main character, Shadow Moon. I am very curious just what/who Mr. Wednesday is. My jaw dropped a few times because some of the scenes were so unique. While much darker in tone it is evident that the mastermind behind bringing this book to television is also the man who brought us the very under appreciated series Pushing Daisies. Already looking forward to episode 2!

I watched episode 7 last night and I am devastated that next sunday's episode is the season finale. I love this show, although I am more in love these last couple episodes because now it seems we are moving forward with the meat of the story. The first 5 episodes were a lot of character introduction I thought and while they were interesting I have enjoyed episodes 5 and 7 the most thus far. I adored Pushing Daisies (another Bryan Fuller show) and hate that is only lasted about 1.5 seasons. That show was ahead of its time. I think if it were made now it would garner a much larger viewing audience. So in answer to your question...I am current on this show!! Are you current on the episodes?

I couldn't believe the season finale is already here - I feel like it just started. I did like this last episode the best so far and I really like the imagery/filming style on this one. The story line was a little hard to follow at first, so I might go back and rewatch. It's good in that "screws with your mind" sort of way! Oh, I LOVE Mad Sweeney!

He was so awesome in this last episode!! And the girl who plays Laura Moon AND Essie McGowan, man she is an awesome actress! And holy cow now we know that Mr. Wednesday is the reason Laura died in the first accident. Mad Sweeney come to find out is basically Mr. Wednesday bitch, delivering bad deeds for him. But to what end? Why does Mr. Wednesday want Laura dead? Is it simply to have Shadow Moon completely without the distraction of a wife? If so, well jokes on you Mr. Wednesday because now he Shadow Moon is distracted by his un-dead wife! Oh man, can you imagine the pain she will inflict on Wednesday if she figures out that he is the reason behind her death? Seems that the new gods are no more evil than the old gods. So this war will not be about good vs evil but more about evil vs evil simply for control of it all. God this is such a great show!! So excited you are watching

Done. Enjoyed it a lot, especially the general take on faith. Wasn't too impressed with the finale though, at least some wrapped up ends would have been nice. Tempted to go get the novel now. Episode 9 was my absolute favourite and Mad Sweeney is the unsung hero of the show. Looking forward to next season.
