According to Kirkman that tease in the trailer of an older Rick will be explained in the first episode of season 8.
Personally I do not believe it is in indication that a time skip happens as soon as we are led to believe. The SDCC trailer is usually filled with bits and pieces from the first 4 episodes of the season. All Out War will, in my opinion, last at LEAST the first eight episodes.
My take on old rick is that it is a hallucination, dream perhaps that Rick is experiencing while being held captive in the container we see in the trailer. Lawd I hope it is something along these lines because I am not a fan of the santa clausey looking Rick. Time skip or no time skip I do hope that Rick does not age so damn much when it actually happens. I need those pretty brown curls in my life!!
