I am going to share an article from tv guide. they make a valid point here and there but I do take issue with the following: **me staring off into space in a weird mid-dimensional fantasy world, "I wonder if the writer of this article has watched the entire series or just a few episodes of this season? "**
First of all, tell that to the pile of tissues that lay at my feet!! The talk with Abraham was a look into the last peaceful moments that Abe and Sasha shared. Sasha was remembering their conversation. A conversation, that if put in a nutshell was all about making sacrifices for those we love, for the others in our lives. She was also remembering what she said about Maggie...."Maggie can take care of Maggie". Abe knew that those words were not Sasha's true self...he just needed to remind her. Showing us this memory of Sasha's, was IMO a very poignant way to illustrate that Sasha was choosing this sacrifice for not only Maggie and the baby, for the family, but also for the memory of Abraham and that she was at peace with her decision. Sasha's entire mission this back half of 7 was to protect and and take care of Maggie. Not only for Maggie and the baby, but for Abraham also. So that it mattered. It is then only natural that she would also be thinking of Maggie in her final moments. And it was not some random flashback...it was a very specific moment that she was remembering. She was remembering the sunrise they shared at the end of season 5 episode Them. And theirs was a bond that began back in season 4 during the episode Alone when Maggie asks her to help find Glenn. Hey writer, one has nothing to do with the other. Just because Sasha was reflecting on her bond with Maggie does not automatically mean that Maggie should have to reflect on Sasha. And Maggie's reflection was an homage to Glenn but also to the group as a whole. That they are all with one another because of one single act made by Glenn in choosing to save Rick and that one day in Atlanta. That choice was the beginning of their blended family being born. And that they have all made and endured sacrifices for the sake of one another. Glenn's choice to save Rick on that day will continue to shape and mold their family as new people join their ranks. Note to writers of reviews....watch the entire series not just a handful of episodes. And if you do not have time for that, maybe visit a forum or two and read the different opinions of fans. Or watch the reviews of real fans on youtube who have watched the series since episode 1 of season one. Maybe then you would have a deeper, possibly more varied view of an episode and thereby able to pen a review that has some semblance of depth www.tvguide.com/news/the-walking-dead-season-7-finale-sasha-death/?rss=breakingnews&partnerid=yahoo&FTAG=YHF09b6e7d&yptr=yahoo
