I have so many thoughts running through my mind. most are positive some are not
My girl....I have known this would happen, still did not make it any easier for me. I have always loved her since she wielded that shovel in her season 3 debut. Her absence from team family will be felt.
Have to say I fist pumped for carl when he basically said "fuck you" upon seeing sasha as a walker and opened fire....carl has grown tired of your shit negan
I am sure I will have more to say after I process the episode and have my few moments of fangirl grieving

And Sasha, at least we got to see some of her and Abe, since we never got any of that, and only references by Rosita and them sleeping with the same guy.

I say it was a great episode and worth the wait. I know a lot of people expected things to be stretched out until next season. But I we can now say that AOW started in tonight's finale.
Sasha played her part for her family even though she had to take her on life to do it. She killed a Savior and helped get the family out out of what seemed to be a hopeless situation. RIP Sasha.
Shiva got tow Kills!!!. Lol
And Hilltop and the Kingdom came through. It was awesome seeing the Saviors retreating.
No Cliffhanger!!
Now things are set for a great season 8.

Don't know if this is the place to put it, but Sonequa Martin-Green is on TTD.

Absolutely made up they finally stood up for themselves.
Knew Sasha was going to take the pill on their way to Alexandria, but was wondering how she'd pull it off. I'm in two minds about the casket. It's pretty ridiculous and doesn't make any sense, but it was also really cool.
Glad Rick didn't cave in this time, although he was basically saying: "Go on, smash me kid's head in. I'll cope."
This got me almost as much as Too Far Gone, and after seasons of near indifference that's high praise.

Didn't Shiva get 3 kills in? When TTD showed the kills, I thought she got 3.

So he wasn't going to give Negan the satisfaction of breaking him again and THEN having him kill Carl anyway. He wanted to let him know that no matter what happened as long as he was alive he'd one day kill Negan. Perhaps it was even reverse psychology there with Rick thinking Negan would consider him to dangerous to keep alive and he'd kill him instead of Carl.

Yeah, I'm just imagining Carl kneeling there next to them, thinking "Great, cheers Dad!"

I'm so sick of JDM's Negan though that I was glad that Rick didn't buckle. I love comic Negan, but hate the TV version.

Pros: Shiva looks so good. Thank God most of the cgi budget went to her
("I lay with him after. You care?") Jadis, Michonne and Rick had me cracking up.
I actually didn't mind JDM in this episode. He wasn't over the top like he's been since S7 began. He was actually half way decent!
Loved Carl's respomse when he saw that Sasha was dead
I just hope the writers let Rick live up to his threat - and kill Negan.
Aww! Carol going to sit next to Morgan in the end
Cons: Rick can't be that much of an idiot. He seriously could'nt tell that junkyard was dirty?
I know Sonequa got another job. I'm happy for her but damnit why did she have to go? At least Rosita is still there to kick ass.
That's all Negan had to say - "we're going to war"
Overall, I liked the finale, its one of the better episodes in S7 - but - there were no surprises. No one should be surprised that Jadis and her junkyard crew were 'dirty', that Kingdom and Hilltop would come to the rescue in the last second, or Michonne would survive and Dwight is still aligned with TF

She was within an inch of her life. It made it seem like the writers really wanted us to think she was going to die. So they showed a woman fall to make Rick and Carl more emotional.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Second fave on the back half of this season. I was on the fence all throughout the back half on whether or not to trust Jadis. I did NOT think she was the little birdie....my bad lol....but I didn't like how Rick just picked any warm bodies he could find to help him fight Negan with not one thought as to whether said warm bodies could be trusted or not. Come on now Rick, we are 2 years into the ZA and you have been through a LOT. You should have known better than that. Her lay with Rick line though. That was hilarious. My fave part of the episode was definitely the talk between Abe and Sasha. It was heartbreaking listening to her try to talk him out of going on the run to Hilltop. She just had a feeling and she was right. Shiva!!! Rage Face Negan! Great episode.
