As well as reanimated corpses bringing forth the end times I am a conspiracy junkie. UFOs, Bigfoot, Ghosts, Shadow Government, you name it I will at least listen once. I figure this can be a thread for any and all things that require you to move out in the woods and wear a tinfoil helmet.
To start things off I do not believe we went to the moon. If we did we would already have "Base America Fuck Yeah" up there. That and the whole "We as the United States went and there is nothing there so no one else needs to go" and everybody goes "Yeah, we trust you , we will just stay here on earth and not look for our selves" is bullshit or a very good Monty Python sketch.

I love this thread!!
I am of course, a believer in ghosts, always have been, since I was a child. I shared some of this with you all in the thread TWDF for ghosts. I am not sure we'll ever be able to "prove" it so to speak (at least not irrefutably), that they exist but I've seen and come across overwhelming evidence that defies logical explanation. It's all a matter of opinion of course but, there it is.
Bigfoot, I think there's a possibility, yes, same with Loch Ness and The Jersey Devil. I kind of lump those all into the "Cryptozoology" category. Too many eyewitness accounts to discount any of it entirely. Why would THAT many people lie about what they saw? Especially since they are of varying ages and all walks of society.
UFOs - yes, I do think there is something to that as well. I'm not all quite Fox Mulder on it but, as they say in Contact, "If it is just us [out there], it'd be an awful waste of space."
Conspiracy theories - eh, I am not so much on board with a lot of those. I don't discount them but rather, take them with a huge grain of salt. I am a researcher so I have from time to time, done that on those just to see all the varying opinions/theories out there.
To add one - reincarnation, I am extremely interested in this, and think there could be something to that.
A good book about reincarnation with actual cases profiled is "Life Before Life" by Jim Tucker if you are so inclined to check it out.

Ghosts ghosts and more ghosts. Also thehainted ...my brother-in-law does not believe we went to the moon either. I choose to not have convos with him about that.

I enjoy talking and debating a lot of stuff especially weird shit. I like hearing the debunkers as well as supporters. It gets boring when its everyone going "Yeah me too!" I like to get the other side and why they think the way they do.

First of all, there's no such thing as irrefutable evidence in the physical world. Anything we think we know today might be disproven at any point in the future. In that sense I get the fascination with the supernatural. I do like to think ghosts exist in some way, but I don't believe any of us would experience them in the ways it's often recorded.
Bigfoot and the likes much less. Silly tourist hoaxes that developed their own mythical life as far as I'm concerned. Very much like god, if you will.
UFO's - come on. As Douglas Adams said, "Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is.". So yes, the chances that we are the only lifeform in the universe are indescribably close to dead zero. The idea that any of those other lifeforms to not only have evolved in a congenial fashion as us but also close enough, in this mind bogglingly vast universe, for them to be able to pay us visits is about as likely though.
Conspiracy theories are just the makings of people with too much time on their hands.
This wasn't supposed to be a quote btw

I have a few jarring questions. Who the hell really built the pyramids of Egypt? Same question for Stonehenge or the Giant Heads on Easter Island. Some of those structures date back to before man even started building things. And they all feature giant stone blocks that had to be moved or lifted up way back then. Who built them? Was it aliens or Angels or demons? I just don't believe it was humans.

Well, on the one hand there's very hard labour by man for, who knows, maybe centuries, as has been documented with many other buildings. On the other hand there's aliens.

UFOs will always be a huge debate. I believe there is certainly other life out there somewhere. But I don't know if I believe they are repeatedly popping up here just for a quick look-see then heading back home. That's where the thought of UFOs falls short to me.

Right, but none of those documented buildings date back to those giant stone structures. Now there are some who believe that there were giant humans living back then that built those structures. I don't know about that either. Its just a huge mystery since no one documented their building of the structures.

They're incredible, but humans were always very creative in easing or helping their labour. I don't find it all that hard to imagine they found a way. We do "know" about the Egyptians wetting the sand in front of the contraption that pulled the massive stones for instance. Infinitely more plausible than aliens popping by.
